In 1970, First State Bank opened its doors as an independent, locally owned branch. Branch manager was Tim Whitlock. In 2022 it was acquired by the Dinsdales and renamed Pinnacle Bank. The bank was then moved to its present location on corner of 4th street and Old Betsy.
